Great Printer December 20, 2009 Me I own the printer w/ duplexor and have run 2100 pages thru the unit with about 1000 of those duplex. The printer warms up fast and prints fast even when duplexing.
The included drive works great over the network and has many cool feature such as the ability to print in booklet mode where the print driver re-organizes the print job so you can fold over an 8 1/2 x 11 page an make a booklet that is doublesided.
The color is great and the color supplies are low cost from Dell and even cheaper from aftermaket suppliers.
If you use an aftermarket cartridge you have to select tell the printer to use non-oem carts.
I have had 0 paper jams, 0 dupelxor jams or issues.
When printing I dont have the whine noise, but it is not a quite printer but this is really a business peinter and at the price is a much better printer.
Great printer! February 3, 2010 D. L. Patague (Los Angeles, CA USA) I use this as my home printer. I love laser color! This printer does great prints of all types from black text to color pictures. Good for home or office use!
Very happy with printer February 18, 2010 W (Kaneohe, HI United States) I've had the Dell 2130c for over 2 months now and have been very happy with the printer and print results. I ordered and installed the duplexor separately. Installation is literally a snap because it simply snaps into place. It has performed flawlessly and I haven't had a single paper jam. I use 20 lb. general purpose copy paper and 24 lb. laser paper without any problems. Printer noise is not an issue and this printer is no louder than many laser printers that I've used. Color is good but not quite good enough for photo-quality printing. It's hard to beat a good inkjet printer with a 6 or 8 color system for photos. I purchased the 2130c from the Dell Outlet on eBay and ordered the duplexor direct from Dell. I would recommend this printer to friends.
Great printer September 3, 2009 Erdal (New Jersey) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a fantastic, reliable, fast and quiet everyday printer. It produces very high quality prints, and I own one.
Very good printer overall May 18, 2010 S. Rifaey (Connecticut) I bought this printer direct from Dell amount 8 months ago. I print in duplex mode almost exclusively and haven't had any probelms. I have replaced the color & black cartridges once already and will be ready for another set of cartridges in amount 2 months. The printer is super quite and doesn't jam. I bought the WiFi wireless connecter and hooked it up but it didn't work right away and was too lazy to dig in the manual or call support to figure it out. So now I have it connected via wired ethernet. The color cartridges are very expensive if you order them directly from Dell. However, you can save 70% by buying them here on Amazon. The DellTrack software is nice but found it annoying after a while so I uninstalled it.
